Josh and I met in September 2010 on a "blind date" of sorts.
We both attended Martin Luther College (MLC) where I was a freshman studying Elementary Education, and he was a senior studying to be a Pastor.

2 years after we met we got engaged.
1.5 years later, we got married on January 4th, 2014.
2 years, 3 moves, and approx. 7 different job changes later, we're doing ministry in Michigan.
I'm nannying + substitute teaching & Josh is officially Pastor Schultz, but right now he goes by the name of "Tutor Schultz," since he is a dorm supervisor + teacher at a Lutheran High School.
MINISTRY
We believe in one God, the Trinity, Father - Son - and Holy Spirit.
And that for our salvation, Jesus came down from heaven, became fully human, and by his death on the cross conquered sin, death, and the devil to take away all of our sins.
He not only died, but resurrected, and joined his Father in heaven where he now lives and rules in heaven and on earth.
None of this is our doing, nor do we earn or deserve it, but because of Christ's unmerited grace.
Because of this grace, we too know that we will be raised from death and live eternally with God in heaven one day too.
Gospel ministry, a proclamation of Jesus + his grace to all people, is what Josh + I are passionate about. We are unbelievably excited to be starting this life long journey of service to our Lord. I hope to share insight, struggles, and joy in Ministry on this blog throughout the years.
MARRIAGE
I loved planning our wedding and soaking in the beauty and excitement of our day; but our marriage has, and always will be more important. Marriage is not just about the beautiful party you throw for one day, but the love + commitment that you work at every day after. On this blog, I hope to share how Josh + I pursue each other in marriage, and how our marriage is not just between us, but a third person. Jesus.
Our relationship will change through the years. Struggles will come, babies will be added, job changes, big moves, milestones, joyous occasions, arguments, and lots of learning + growth. While i don't know what tomorrow will bring, I know that I have Josh to go through it all with, and a Savior who is guiding + protecting us along the way.
